We haven't done anything like that either. CPO 365 is kind of second to everything else on submarines. It's more hands on training than sitting down and covering what the book says.

I am at a recruiting command. We take it pretty serious. Meet once a month with a straggler meeting. PT, uniform inspections, and formation runs. We even had a guidon made. I've been at the same command for 4 years and watched it evolve into something worthwhile. However, Phase 2 consistently falls off every year. Which doesn't bother me one bit. If I don't have (Select) in my title anywhere, the last thing I need is a constant reminder. But I've got friends in other districts who say CPO365? Huh?

If results come out before August, I might still be on an Foreign Ship doing LNO duties for an exercise. I wonder if Ill find out or they;ll wait to break the news.

So do have a question. I have been on a long PCS due to several schools and it will be a total of almost 6 months. Unfortunately I am missing a few signatures for phase 1. If by some lucky chance I get that "S", how would I be affected in phase 2? Will I still be eligible to participate and just earn the signatures as I go or will I have a delayed participation in phase 2 or a possible delayed pinning. Thanks.

The CPO 365 book is setup almost like a PQS. Has reading, tasks like writing evauluations and awards, and fundamental skills such as understanding effective communication and leadership skills. Once you complete the tasks you sit down and discuss it with your peers and the CPO mess to get feedback.

Hey Tony. This is sort of the Preamble to the 365 guide. It's a whole PQS ish type guide. The only thing PQS about is a signature by your SEL at the end of each section. I have an electronic version and would be happy to post it if am able to.

Totally of subject...but does anyone else have any rituals from the time the board adjourns to the time the results are released?...I started growing a mustache...this is the only time of the year that I have one.

I run the training program at my command along side with the Chiefs, I am a liason if you will ahahaha. If you have any questions about that CPO 365 "PQS" I can answer some of them. The book is broken into phase I and phase II. Phase II starts when results are released.
