👉 This thread is about concerns to living conditions on Navy ships...

Our base in Bahrain was hit hard by Iran. That is the base that brings our mail and other supplies to the ships. In addition, some U.S. allies have  restricted or denied the use of their military bases and airspace for operations connected to the war in Iran. This makes it more difficult to bring supplies in the Middle East much less Bahrain.

These nations cited a lack of prior consultation, concerns over international law, and a desire to avoid regional escalation. It did not help that trump has insulted some of the countries and their leaders and added tariffs to these countries as well. Two of these allies, Spain & Italy, have large US Navy bases but are now limited by the host countries. 

The bottom line is that it is true that it is harder to get supplies to the Middle East. This failure falls under our commander-in-chief - donald trump.

USS Abraham Lincoln Leaves the Middle East After Almost 7 Months

The record-breaking time at sea was brought to national attention after families complained publicly about difficult conditions board the ship and the increased stress of the crew. Due to the lack of access to Middle East logistics hubs due to the threat of Iranian strikes, Navy logistics vessels have to travel thousands of miles to bring food and fuel to the ships operating in the Arabian Sea. U.S. Central Command officials said the strike group had difficulty resupplying earlier in the year but had established better supply lines to the strike group.
