Military Families & Sailor Concerns Over Living Conditions on Ships in the Middle East

This thread is about concerns to living conditions on Navy ships...

Our base in Bahrain was hit hard by Iran. That is the base that brings our mail and other supplies to the ships. In addition, some U.S. allies have  restricted or denied the use of their military bases and airspace for operations connected to the war in Iran. This makes it more difficult to bring supplies in the Middle East much less Bahrain.

These nations cited a lack of prior consultation, concerns over international law, and a desire to avoid regional escalation. It did not help that trump has insulted some of the countries and their leaders and added tariffs to these countries as well. Two of these allies, Spain & Italy, have large US Navy bases but are now limited by the host countries. 

The bottom line is that it is true that it is harder to get supplies to the Middle East. This failure falls under our commander-in-chief - donald trump.
