An Arizona State University student, who was detained in Louisiana by immigration officials days after marrying a U.S. Army sergeant., has a GoFundMe in support of her legal defense.

Twenty-two-year-old Annie Ramos, married to U.S. Army Sgt. Matthew Blank, was detained by ICE on April 2 while at a scheduled appointment at Fort Polk in Leesville, La., just five days after their wedding.

      There's growing disquiet in the military. The Iran war made it worse

      All the unethical, illegal things trump is doing is catching up to him. And now trump has given Iran control of the Straights of Hormuz which has made this issue of Iran worse than what it was before the war. Threatening and insulting our allies instead of building a consensus, Threatening and insulting NATO instead of building a consensus, giving Israel full reign in their attacks which is causing the average taxpayer to not only question the current administration, but to question our own military. The uptick is part of a larger pattern of military members seeking ways to end their service, according to NPR interviews with several organizations like Galvin's and military members who deal directly with these issues. While there is no hard contemporaneous data on the number of members seeking to exit, the people NPR spoke to for this story say they have seen undeniable cracks in the military's ability to retain troops, largely due to low morale or ethical concerns.
