Trump threatens Iran with military action if nuclear deal can’t be reached

Donald Trump has revealed he has sent a letter to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei seeking a new deal with Tehran to halt its rapidly advancing nuclear program and replace the agreement he withdrew America from during his first term.

The president disclosed the move in an interview with Fox Business due to air over the weekend, saying: “I’ve written them a letter saying, ‘I hope you’re going to negotiate because if we have to go in militarily, it’s going to be a terrible thing.’”
