For those hopeful PO1s eagerly awaiting what Tuesday may bring, ENJOY your weekend. Whatever Tuesday brings, it was already settled awhile ago. If you do find yourself on “the list”, you’ll wish you had spent this weekend with your friends and family because it’s a grind. You WILL be challenged. You WILL be tested. The Chiefs’ Mess has no choice but to ensure you are ready to uphold and be the standard, wear the uniform proudly, take care of our Sailors, and one day replace us. If you don’t find yourself on the list, it’s ok to be upset. Take some time to reflect. But then remember you still have Sailors to take care of, and a job to do and get back to it. Reach out to those that sat the board, or even last years members, and request a review. You may know you’ve got “all the checks”, but does your record truly or properly reflect that? Get an objective review. Still, in the end, we have Sailors and our Navy to take care of.

Calling my son first. Then I’ll talk to my wife. Then calling an old retired HMC that I worked with before I cross rated because he was awesome and gave me anchors as a second class id like to watch the town hall but can’t watch it at work

So this a rough question. So I was in Pensacola last year and the results were read over the PA system in the building. Great for the people that made it, but obviously you can see the look on some people’s faces when they weren’t called. I think non selection should be private because you could be telling someone who loves being in the navy that was on their last shot they didn’t get selected. But at the same time I think public announcement of advancements are also good.

Or just waiting to announce it during the town hall tomorrow. I think the 8/9 results schedule was only announced a day before.

line numbers by seniority. my understanding (correct if i am wrong) each rating is broken up into 12 increments for pay.

with the info coming from force and Fleet Master Chiefs, i think its the most solid thing we've had

Another peg in the rumor wheel. Someone posted a screen shot of an email from their CMC that was accidentally sent to the Everyone instead of just the chiefs mess. “Unofficial but results could come out as early as 19th”

Just heard the same thing from a second person at different geographical location. They were told from someone running season that the results will be to triads this coming Thursday.

They could also wait to push it till after the expected season time frame so that no one would get paid during season?

Someone I know said they heard Thursday the 19th. I’m on leave so y’all are my sources right now

For your command it was put out that not till after?

I don’t think normal timelines are a concern this this cycle since they are doing staggering for testing.
