  2. The Actions & Consequences of Our commander-in-chief

On January 20, 2025, Donald J. Trump was elected as president of the United States. Trump did not served in the military and is the first president with felony convictions. With that came a drastic change in allegiances from inside our nation and out. Veterans were one of the first groups that got hit hard even though there were warnings before Trump was elected as president that Veterans would be targeted.

The purpose of this forum is to document the actions of our current commander-in-chief and to disseminate the consequences of these actions and how it impacts Navy personnel, their families, veterans, and our allies or former allies as this may affect any conflict we are involved with in the future: Keep your seabag packed.

Commendations, awards, and a “career with unlimited potential,” I was told, lay on the path before me. I told them I was happy, and I think they believed me. Then one day, I tried to kill myself.

Since 1994, Seoul’s Joint Chiefs of Staff has held peacetime OPCON, but efforts to regain wartime OPCON from the US-led Combined Forces Command have stalled over concerns about its readiness in command, control, surveillance, and reconnaissance.

    • If you’ve had certain dental procedures, like wisdom teeth removal, a root canal, or oral surgery, some dentists may prescribe an opioid painkiller to help manage your pain. While your comfort is a priority, it’s important to also understand any potential negative side effects posed by opioids and the importance of using opioids responsibly.
