Navy, Marines Exceed Fiscal Year 2024 Recruiting, Retention Goals

The Navy exceeded its recruiting goal for Fiscal Year 2024, bringing in 40,978 new active-duty enlisted recurits, Secretary of the Navy Carlos Del Toro announced Tuesday.

The Navy, as well as the Marine Corps, both met recruiting goals in for the Pentagon’s fiscal year, which ended Monday. The Navy’s goal was 40,600, an increased goal from the previous fiscal year despite two years of missing its aim for new sailors.
