WASHINGTON -- Master-at-Arms Senior Chief Michael Haberstumpf, assigned to Joint Special Operations Intelligence Brigade, Fort Bragg, North Carolina, passed away due to COVID-19 related complications at UNC Medical Center, Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Oct. 10. 

Haberstumpf, 42, tested positive for COVID-19 Sept. 2, and was hospitalized Sept. 9. 

We will continue to support his family and shipmates during this difficult time.
