WASHINGTON — The number of Department of Veterans Affairs patients to die from the coronavirus jumped to 167 on Wednesday as positive cases across the VA health care system surpassed 3,000.

In total, 3,265 VA patients have tested positive for the virus, and more than 500 have been hospitalized. Employees of VA medical centers have also been infected — 1,130 as of Wednesday. https://www.stripes.com/news/veterans/167-va-patients-seven-employees-dead-from-coronavirus-1.625373
