Two U.S. soldiers and an interpreter killed in attack in Syria, Pentagon says
Two U.S. Army soldiers and a civilian U.S. interpreter were killed Saturday in an attack in Palmyra, Syria, the Pentagon said. Three other U.S. personnel were wounded in the attack, which occurred during what the Pentagon described as a "key leader engagement" supporting ongoing counter-ISIS operations, according to a statement posted on X by Sean Parnell, the Pentagon's chief spokesperson. -

VA Compiling ICE List of "Non-US citizens" Employed by or Affiliated with That Agency
More than 50 members of Congress are demanding answers from the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and homeland security officials after the Guardian revealed the VA is compiling a report on all non-US citizens “employed by or affiliated with” the government agency that will then be shared with other federal agencies, including immigration authorities.
