CFL/ACFLs,

- Get Your PFA Scores In.  With less than two weeks until the end of the official Navy PFA Cycle (30NOV25).  As prescribed in Guide-7, CFL/ACFLs have 30 days following the completion of the Navy’s PFA Cycle to enter PFA data. 

Reminder: CFL/ACFLs are prohibited from conducting an official BCA on a Sailor who is transferring and will not be assigned to the command during the entire command PFA. See PRP Guide-3 for additional details. 

- Command Information Update Issue in PRIMS.  The PRP Office is aware of the PRIMS issue regarding the inability to manually update command information.  A solution is in progress and an update will be provided once resolved.   

- Command Reports.  The below command reports are now available and can be accessed by navigating to the “Reports” tab in PRIMS.  Additional details on how to generate reports can be found within the PRIMS Training Course which is located at https://www.mynavyhr.navy.mil/Support-Services/Culture-Resilience/Physical-Readiness/PRIMS-Training/

Report titles: 
- PFA_PERFORMANCE_BY_UIC_DETAILED 
- PFA PERFORMANCE REPORT BY UIC BASIC
- PFA Summary By UIC (This report lists PARFQ, PHA, BCA, & PRT completion status) 

- “Servicemembers with Gender Dysphoria” PFA Letter of Correction.  A sample LOC has been added to the “FORMS” tab.  This LOC is used when, due to the administrative absence pending separation under Performing the Duties of the Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness Memorandum of February 26, 2025 and ALNAV 038/25, a member cannot participate in the PFA and comply with standards outlined in OPNAVINST 6110.1K.

      Nimitz Strike Group Drills Near Scarborough Shoal with Philippines, Japan

      The Nimitz Carrier Strike Group joined Philippine and Japanese vessels in the South China Sea over the weekend in what was Washington’s largest show of force near Scarborough Shoal in years, following a series of maritime incidents between China and allied nations in the region. U.S. Navy aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN-68), and destroyers USS Wayne Meyer (DDG-108), USS Gridley (DDG-101) and USS Lenah Sutcliffe Higbee (DDG-123), were joined by Japanese destroyer JS Akebono (DD 108), Philippine Navy flagship BRP Jose Rizal (FF 150) and frigate BRP Antonio Luna (FF 151), and Philippine Coast Guard cutters BRP Melchora Aquino (MRRV 9702) and BRP Cape San Agustin (MRRV 4408) for a two-day joint patrol and exercises in the South China Sea.

This NAVADMIN announces the transition of the Navy Family Accountability and Assessment System (NFAAS) notification capability to the Department of the Navy's enterprise mass notification platform, Alert!. NFAAS is the system utilized by the Navy to account for personnel and their families during widespread natural or man-made disasters. b. This transition replaces the legacy email-to-text notification system. The transition to Alert! is automatic and no action is required by the sponsor. However, action is required to reply to the text notification if you are in an affected geographical area of interest. c. Alert! provides improved speed, reliability, and two-way communication via SMS, email and voice. Sponsors will receive text message notifications from phone number 24639 and may reply with their status. After 10 minutes, sponsors will begin to receive phone calls if they have not replied. d. Alert! does not replace the requirement for sponsors to update their information for the semi-annual event, sponsors will still need to login to NFAAS at http://www.navyfamily.navy.mil/ to update and or validate their information. 2. Applicability. This message applies to all Navy uniformed personnel (Active Duty and Reserve), Navy civilians (both APF and NAF), and Outside Continental United States (OCONUS) contractors. 3. Commands are directed to ensure widest dissemination of this message to all personnel to ensure full awareness of this change. 4.
