Folks, I would not characterize this deployment as "disastrous." As I've mentioned, the Navy is overworked and in my opinion not receiving the needed training because they are deployed so often. Additionally, the crew on most ships need a break and the ships most definitely need a break for some much needed maintenance and repair. 

Had to get my 2 cents worth for the very hard working Sailors in our Navy that the media does not know about. 

The US Navy aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman is at last making its way home after an eventful extended deployment that saw the ship participate in combat operations against the Iran-backed Houthis but also lose three aircraft.
