Thanks for starting the thread. Had my moment, went out to eat with the fam, got some advice from mentors... looking ahead to next year.

Got the N.. absolutely crushed but have to keep trucking along. The only good thing is I have orders to a command I was really looking forward to going to, so at least they aren't changing lol.

Our command is waiting to call an all hands at 1300 and announce... 1.5 hours away seems like an eternity at this point. Congrats to those who have gotten the S thus far!

On the CNP facebook page they posted about 1:00pm EST the day prior to results being released for the FTS/reserve. So, if they come out tomorrow we should see some notification today for sure.

Pretty sure these results were posted tonight unless I’m reading it wrong. So.... game on???! Lol

Been told by various Chiefs in my command that results are coming "sooner than usual" this year-- again, I won't believe it until I see the CNP post the schedule lol

I sent in my PPME and SEJPME as well as USMAP certs. They all can be found somewhere else whether eval/course history, etc. But, I have heard varying things.. send them or not to send them. Whatever makes you most comfortable since its your package.

Thanks DocEddy8404– that really does help! I was hoping to hear the possibility. One person made a comment that the command “wasted” SOY on someone who won’t get selected due to the PFA failure and it really put my head in the wrong space. Going to try to stay positive. Thanks man.

Looking for opinions on how big of a detractor a PFA failure 3 years ago could be. No excuses.. had a lot of crap going on outside of work and packed on a few extra pounds when my focus shifted other places. I've lost the weight, passed all before and all since then. I had JSOY at an FDNF squadron in 2015, I was SOY of an FRS this year #1 of 68. I feel like my evals are spot on regarding leadership for my juniors. I attached the most recent eval. I have had people say that it (PFA fail) won't be the reason I don't make it, and others have told me I absolutely will not make Chief with a fail on my record within the past 5 years. Thoughts? I think we're all at the point that we are overthinking everything now. First time selection board eligible and hoping I don't have to go through this feeling for many years to come LOL

I think they’re just emphasizing that it needs to be done, but they’re looking for more than just that in professional development— are Sailors taking advantage of options such as USMAP etc. I guess what I’m saying is I don’t necessarily think PPME and SEJPME are anymore important than they were in previous years when it comes to the board.

I agree. This weekend is dragging even though the family has tried to keep busy. We have a serious heat wave here in VA.. heat index like 114, nothing to enjoy outdoors. I've got hard copies for December.. looking forward to knowing whether I'll be headed there, or if I'll get selected and redistributed. I'll have to purposely plan something for next weekend to make the time go by faster LOL.

I am an AE.. our quota is 69 out of 316 eligible (21.84%). I think they are usually pretty good at filling all of ours, but I noticed they didn't use all of the FTS or reserve quotas for AE's and was surprised at some of our FTS people who didn't get selected.. so, we will see.

I have the same, now showing TEST BOARD. I haven't seen it before either. Waiting...impatiently.
