  1. Let's say the results were to be approved, stamped, and released early...………….What would they even do with the Selects? From what I've heard, everything is planned to the hour for a six week season. Any suggestions about what they would do?
  2. I use it as a tie breaker when ranking junior Sailors. The expectation is you pass. If you go above and beyond that then you have a slight advantage over those who just passed.
  3. “Per NAVADMIN 141/17, member exempt from PRT.” It is not a detractor, missing a PFA or failing a portion of the PFA is a detractor.
  4. I'm in Lemoore, I get my info from here and the whispers around the deckplates
  5. that number is quite a few shy of the 4,744 quotas
  6. Leadership, Sailorization, Command impact. You would get points for all of it so long as the write up shows how you used sponsorship
  7. mine now says "no selection boards to display"
  8. I really hope you get selected brother.
  9. I have asked every board eligible if they have TEST BOARD, and they all replied in the affirmative. That would be way too many people who's package was not reviewed if that were the case. I cannot say for certain that every board eligible has the TEST BOARD, but it sure seems that way. So I would say that all of our packages are there and are currently under review.
  10. I hear ya. They told me they cannot elaborate and that it is under review.
  11. ***UPDATE*** My Navy Career Center called me. "TEST BOARD" means that it is under review. They said they cannot go into details other than that. So now we have an answer!!!!
  12. Pretty much the same for me. I will say that in each command where they didn't do one for any of the non-selects, they still pushed and motivated everyone.
  13. How many people on have received a CDB after not getting selected? I have only had it once officially. One year I knew one of the board members so I asked him to review everything. I understand that it is near impossible to accomplish a non select CDB during the season but I feel that it goes a long way in showing that your Chiefs Mess cares about your development.
  14. It is interesting to see how different communities or different size commands inform everyone of the results. Personally, I think the best way is to let the CMC inform the Sailor by calling them down to the Chiefs Mess.
  15. I read all these amazing posts about everyone's incredible accomplishments and how hard they work for the benefit of their Sailors to enable them to succeed. I really hope everyone on here gets selected. It is frustrating to be at the top year after year and not get selected. Especially when someone else gets selected and their biggest accomplishment in Night Shift supervisor and they hold no major qualifications.
  16. I got the follow up and emailed them asking why the ticket was closed without answering the question. I'm not holding my breath on a response.
  17. Update, they closed the ticket without giving me an answer. Sorry fellas...………..
  18. Still no update from My Navy Career Center on what "TEST BOARD" means.
  19. Could be the legal side or part of the post-board scrub. It is odd for sure. I have looked at that page before after the board adjourned and it was always just blank.
  20. I also asked every Chief that walked past my office, they all said the same thing. " I have no idea what that means, I have never seen that" "TEST BOARD" with a convene date of tomorrow is the big mystery of the day.
  21. I contacted PERS-32, they directed me to PERS-8 via My Navy Career Center. I created an open ticket with them so when they get back to me I will post the response.
  22. mine says the same thing. Has anyone ever seen "TEST BOARD" before?
  23. This was before RSCA. I got that eval in 2012. the summary group average was 3.91. I can say that having a few CMC's who have sat the board in recent years go through my package, they said it does factor in both for points earned and for the confidence vote in front of the panel. they take a look at the full picture though. No one eval is going to make it happen. You have to be hitting the metrics in your LADR, contributing to the command, growing your junior Sailors to succeed. They also highlighted that FCPOA and Sailor 360 involvement being documented on every eval is always looked for.
