  1. You can also check for people at your command who sat the board or commands local to you that have people who sat the board. Nothing wrong with reaching out to people and introducing yourself.
  2. They will correct what needs correcting and then proceed.
  3. It's time!!! Congrats to everyone selected.
  4. No, it will take a day or so to populate
  5. I went to bed early to beat traffic the next day
  6. I feel ya on that. I prefer having the Skipper and CMC come talk to each selectee in person. I realize in large commands this isn’t exactly practical though but it is a very personal moment. For those that are not selected, the CMC talking to those folks goes a long way in my book.
  7. How do you all feel about the best way of notifying Sailors if they get selected? Also, what is the best way to let a Sailor who wasn’t selected know?
  8. That was got me to join in the first place. All of us come from somewhere and we all have something to say, plus I learned a lot from everyone on here over the years.......even before I signed up. This is the most exciting time when anxiety goes up a little and we get to really hear what people are thinking!
  9. I said 100 because I believe we can do it! Just need all the lurkers to join in
  10. It is based on seniority and establishes the order for advancement and pay.
  11. Rumor mill around here says results MAY be released this week, Good luck to everyone!!!
  12. I cannot speak for this year, but when I went through initiation, I had no time for anything other than the season. I hope all of you get the S this year!!!!
  13. Me too, I was in VF-41 and then stayed supers for pretty much the rest. The LADR is really looked at and used by the board. It's not always an ordie sitting the panel for AO's.
  14. Those projections are pretty realistic. We made 104 last year.
  15. Critical thinking and approach will change depending on the situation. I won't spoil it for you but you will get plenty of activities and situations to hone and sharpen what the course gave you.
  16. What was your biggest takeaway from the course?
  17. A drop in your trait average can mean a lot of different things. If the command explained in the eval why it dropped, then it is easier for the board to understand. If they did not explain it in the eval, then I would address the trait average drop in your letter to the board.
  18. NJP from 2013 will be briefed but it won't be held over your head. The big thing is to show to the board how you over came that setback.
  19. They go through the season with the rest of the selectee's.
  20. I did, I sent in designation letters even though the billet was documented on an eval.
