Question would winning SSOQ at a big command have more impact than winning at a small command would the board even take that into consideration.
-
If they do a CBD at bar that would be great lol

LS1 here. Reasons I would get selected.
1. Out of rate qualifications to include ATTWO, Chief of the Guard, GLO, SW/AW/IW and fully qualified in rate. MOVSM, All PPMEs, 2 SOQs and various check in the box from LADr. Received a spot and transfer NAM everytime from last three commands.
2. FCPOA Prez at previous sea command and current shore command, Diveristy Committee Prez, Command collaterals to include CFL, CCC, SAPR, VITA, PO indoc coord, and command indoc coord (all documented in block 41)
3. Stellar evals above COs RSCA. Supply Dept Lpo at sea with write up in block 41) stating filling in as acting chief due to gapped billet on two evals. And last eval at shore command has MATL LCPO documented as my primary job in block 29 with stellar results in block 41.
Reasons not to get selected.
1. Haven't finished up associates degree
2. No USMaps
3. Wrong detachment date documented in career duty history (but no eval gaps)
LS1,
you maybe the chosen one.
reason I may not get selected.
-I have 2 P’s in a row
-First time up
-I May have had a altercation with the MC that sat the board but not sure lol
Reasons they would select me
-After 2 p’s jumped to a rank 13 of 134 EP
-Command SOQ, LPO at sea 3 years, associates degree, Bpme,Jpme, IA tour, USMAPs complete, army com, MOVSM, CPo involved, first class treasurer
- My sailors have been advancing in a tough SH rate, when averaged last 5 evals above RCA, I precomed a ship. Oh and I am awesome lol

So to add I got 2 p’s in a row then finally got what I derserved after winning SSOQ EP 13 of 134 at the same command. Always have led sailors I have a degree, bpme, Jpme, movsm, non residentials courses, command collaterals, 365 involvement, FCPOM treasurer, LPO sea even complete all my rate USMAPs and went IA to Afghanistan, I have been preparing for this opportunity for years now. But yet I still have no clue what I could be missing been in 14 years now, And will be going recruiting in a few months it just sucks my rate only advanced 13 which is 9%, is it a such thing as being over qualified.

I just went thru this whole tread, interesting stuff I can feel the anxiousness. Now you guys got me wide awoke on a Friday night. Good luck too all, but you know what sucks worse than not making it, hearing it constantly at your command before the results are released “you got it this year”Am I the only one who dislikes that? Oh yeah my bets on the 1st Aug for the release date.

I think it depends on when your getting grade by the 2 MC’s that are suppose to grade each sailor ,correct me if I’m wrong, one may say this Sailor was at a bigger command and got SSOQ which may put the one who got SSOQ at a smaller command kind of at a disadvantage so I’m guessing it depends on that master chief.
