I am thinking a Wed triad Thu results...  But NAC would have to put something out Monday.

NAC doesn’t have anything to do with the CPO results. Not even the schedule. Everything comes from NPC ONLY  they responded on their social media page  “Unfortunately NETPDC doesn't release CPO results.  Those results are released by NPC.”

i think because NAC has Sailors eligible working their, they don’t get any info.

Does anyone have a min. and max number of MCs review their package before they submit? I felt like so many people reviewed it and then I had mixed decisions on what I should’ve and shouldn’t have submitted.

I had 2 MCPOs and 2 SCPOs (both have sat boards) from my command, my DH who has sat boards, and a MCPO from my rating that sat this years E9 board.

Alright.... I got an idea for a game to pass the time since I've heard this mentioned several times in this thread. All of us hopefuls are sitting here tapping our feet and telling ourselves "How could they not pick me? I'm fantastic!" followed almost immediately by "Ah forget it, i'm screwed. Better start studying for January". So post your top 3 reasons why you think you WON'T make CPO followed by your top 3 reasons why you think you WILL make it.

I think it could widen some perspective on the wide-variety of candidates the board looks at since I assume we have a high diversity of rates/career paths on here.

    Sure why not...

    Reasons not selected:

    1) first time up and only completing 1 tour after conversion (went from HM to CTN IN 2015)

    2) No MOVSM, USMAP, or Degree

    3) only two evals as aFCPO

    Reasons maybe selected:

    1) first eval as FCPO was MP followed by a #18 of 219 EP

    2) LPO/DLPO, leading in rating, leading in mission, filled billet normally for an E7, FCPOA involves, led 365

    2) all the PMEs, NRTCs, volunteering, positive result from collaterals

Why would the board change from a two man grading system to just one man grading and briefing a package? I thought that was a great system to ensure that the packages are graded fairly so if one grade differs from another grade drastically, they would reset and grade again to ensure accurate grading across the board. The only changes I heard of was that your entire career performance is reviewed and all packages (not just crunch zone) are briefed to the board and voted on.

From my understanding there is no more “grading”. That’s what used to get you to he tank. Now every record goes

That makes me think shouldn’t the board have taken longer if every package gets briefed? Or are they doing shorter briefs? Would be interesting to find out how they manage the time.

So this year I reached out to a MCPO that sat the aboard this year, to get a perspective on the new process. He basically took my PSR I-III and used it as a note sheet. Marked areas of consideration (things that could have been both good and not so good) and made notes on it for significant events listed on evals.  Things to bring attention to. He told me this was pretty much how they went into the briefing.

    Examples of notes were:

“DLPO-Led xx Sailors with significant positive impact: JSOY, BJOY 14 awards, 8 warfare quals”

    ”CPO365+, FCPOA+”

”technical expert/leader-did xx, led xx to do xx, trained xx, qualified xx”

    ect.

Continuity report still shows E-7 selection board as active. Generally that disappears once the board has adjourned. At least it normally does for LDO.

Hoping for the best this year. Got competitive evals with primary duties in line with the MAC+ expectations on the MA LADR. Large leadership numbers with breakouts addressing leadership over other First Classes. Bachelors degree, MOVSM, PPME, SEJPME, along with hot NEC's in the community. Have multiple deployments along with a diverse career history to CNO priority billets and large overseas installations with no missed opportunities.

It was gone from my continuity report today and it was there last Friday

If anyone wants to know there exact percentage, they can go to the "My advancement" section on MNP and pull "Exam Statistics by Rate" to determine their actual advancement percentage...

So, breakdown for a CTR such as myself is this: 542 tested, 336 SBE, 71 to be advanced (this number from quota listing above). 71/336=21.1% chance of advancement...1 in 5 odds...I'll take that!

I would use the link below. The statistics are what was released in March but those numbers have changed.
