    • U.S. Navy ends blockade of Iran’s ports and coastal areas
    • The SSN(X) is supposed to be the deadliest attack submarine ever — Seawolf’s firepower, Virginia’s stealth, Columbia’s endurance in one hull. It’s also slipped to 2040, could cost $8.7 billion each, and is being designed by a yard base that can’t build the current Virginia class on schedule. The Navy’s recent record on new ship classes says be skeptical.
    • CFL/ACFLs, - Get Your PFA Scores In.  The end of official Navy PFA Cycle-1 2026 is approaching (30 JUN 26).  As prescribed in Guide-7, CFL/ACFLs have 30 days following the completion of the Navy’s PFA Cycle to enter PFA data. - Recent PRIMS System Updates:   “Fitness Assessments”/“Fitness Tests” in Contact Records.  These terms have replaced “PFA” within Sailor contact records.  This system-wide change supports data entry for the PFA and Combat Fitness Assessment (CFA) required for combat arms personnel. Medical Waiver Entry Causing PFA to Show “Incomplete”.  A system bug is causing newly entered PFA data with a medical waiver to display as "Incomplete", regardless of the order that medical waiver is entered.  We anticipate the issue will be resolved with next system update on 2 Jul. Cycle-1 2026 PFA Record Visibility Issue.  Some CFLs continue to experience a sporadic issue in which they are unable to view Cycle-1 2026 PFA record for certain Sailors.  While we continue to investigate the issue, we request that you complete the following troubleshooting steps, then create an MNCC case detailing the outcome: Step-1: Is the Sailor gained to the UIC?  (Yes or No) Step-2: Is the Sailor gained into a Dept and/or Division?  (Yes or No) Step-3: Transfer the affected Sailor and regain them strictly to the UIC.  Can you see them now? If YES:  Proceed to Step-4. If NO:  Stop here. Email the CFL DODID, Sailor(s) DODID(s), and UIC(s) to askmncc@us.navy.mil and indicate that Step-3 failed. Step-4: Add the member to the required Dept.  Can you see them now? If YES:  Proceed to Step-5. If NO:  Stop here. Email the CFL DODID, Sailor(s) DODID(s), UIC, and Dept to askmncc@us.navy.mil and indicate that Step-4 failed. Step-5: Add the member to the required Division.  Can you see them now? If YES:  Issue resolved (Good to go). If NO:  Stop here. Email the CFL DODID, Sailor(s) DODID(s), UIC, and Division to askmncc@us.navy.mil and indicate that Step-5 failed. - PRIMS LOC Requests.  Errors on LOC submissions are rising.  CFL/ACFLs should use the form templates available under the “Forms” tab to ensure accuracy.
