RMKS/1.  This ALNAV announces a temporary change to the requirement for
Special Duty Medical Examinations in response to the Coronavirus Disease 2019
(COVID-19).  All Navy and Marine Corps personnel requiring a Special Duty
Medical Examination for dive, flight, landing craft air cushion, naval
special warfare and special operations, nuclear field duty, radiation, and
submarine duty status in the months of March 2020 through June 2020 are

current force health protection guidance.  The continuing requirement to meet
established physical standards still applies.

Duty Medical Examination and with personnel who perform Special Duty Medical

and Marine Corps personnel required per references (a) through (c) to have a
Special Duty Medical Examination to continue in their special duty status.

4.  Point of Contacts.  For flight examinations please direct all questions
to CDR Roy A. Hoffman, roy.a.hoffman.mil@mail.mil, (703) 681-9323 or Sharon
