Shooter in Oceana incident identified

A sailor killed Friday by Naval Air Station Oceana security personnel after he shot a coworker has been identified by the Navy as Christopher J. Ruffier, a 26-year-old airman apprentice. 

Oceana commanding officer Capt. Chad Vincelette said Ruffier shot a female sailor multiple times in a parking lot for Strike Fighter Squadron 37 around 6:45 a.m. Friday.
