Hello,

Does anyone have any news about when/if the board met in December 2018 to select individuals for direct commissioning as a HCA? Any idea when the results will be out?

I've been in contact with my recruiter who said the board met and selections have been made. Have you contacted your recruiter?

Good afternoon,

I was wondering if anyone could provide me with some guidance on how the actual package is to be submitted and the order etc?  Also in the actual package for certain things not pertaining to MSC-IPP or various other questions that were N/A did you leave the spaces blank or fill them in with N/A?  Thank you in advance!

I can only speak on my own experience with this process. First thing I did was contact a Medical Officer Recruiter. Then the package submission went in this order:

1. Submit official transcript of conferred degrees.

2. Schedule a commissioning physical and provide to recruiter when finished.

3. The recruiter will submit you stuff and wait for the OK to start building your Officer kit.

4. Start getting your letters of recommendation and employer appraisals (recruiter will give you the form).

5. Start the process for a security clearance (recruiter will give you form).

6. Work on personal statement.

I remember putting N/A on the questions that did not pertain to me. I hope this helps!
