The Blue Angels are getting new jets: Super Hornets

The Blue Angels will soon be flying in F/A-18 Super Hornets.

The Navy's Pensacola-based flight demonstration team is getting long-awaited upgrades from its current fleet of F/A-18 Hornets.

Super Hornets are 25 percent bigger than the current Hornets, can fly 40 percent further and remain on station 80 percent longer, according to the Blue Angels. https://pilotonline.com/news/military/article_b2d01092-a158-11e8-9d2e-5fb6c188c9f4.html
