Navy anti-mine program reaches milestone

The Navy announced Friday that it has taken another step forward in a $34 million anti-mine program that relies on flying robots to help Marines hit the beach.

On April 6, the San Diego-based littoral combat ship Coronado successfully completed second-phase operational testing of the Coastal Battlefield Reconnaissance and Analysis system. http://www.sandiegouniontribune.com/military/sd-me-lcs-cobra-20180420-story.html
