Oceana-based fighter jet crashes off Key West

Recommended Posts

An F/A-18F Super Hornet from Naval Air Station Oceana crashed about a mile off the Florida coast on Wednesday, Naval Air Force Atlantic spokesman Cmdr. Dave Hecht said.

The two-person crew has been recovered, but their condition was not immediately available. The pilot and the weapons system officer were taken to Lower Keys Medical Center, Hecht said. Both ejected and were recovered about 10 minutes after the crash. https://pilotonline.com/news/military/local/article_f288a10e-27d7-11e8-b6ab-b37288789aba.html
