No!!! our operational tempo has not changed that much. We are now doing more or maintaining operstional commitment with few/less number of Sailors. Hence, contributing to  accidents as a result of fatigue.

For clarification purposes:

Definition of "operational tempo" or Optempo

  • Operational: Your mission (includes service, training, or administrative aspects of your mission.) 
  • Tempo: The rate
  • Optempo: The rate at which you are assigned and engaged in missions.
