Feds eye ex-naval base in WV as possible shelter for refugee children

Representatives of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services will visit the recently decommissioned U.S. Navy base at Sugar Grove in Pendleton County on Monday and Tuesday to determine if the site is suitable for providing temporary shelter for children unaccompanied by adults who are apprehended while crossing the U.S.-Mexico border.
