You're killing my dreams my friend!  I'm also on my 3rd package, but I just have a measly old bachelors in business.

Do any of you other dear stalkers have stats on things like average number of annual applications, percentages of acceptance, or how overqualified selectees are that we can torture ourselves with to pass the time?  I was told that the alternates almost always get pulled up (why?) and went so far as to confirm this for the past 2 years in the email global server (by noting their ranks and duty stations).

Almost in the same situation myself. Completed my MHA from a CAHME accredited school in 2013 and on my 4th application for MSC-IPP. Finally did the DA route with the recruiter this year and got alternate status. Pretty much am all in to this program and hoping for my turn to come soon. If not, time to study up for the GRE for the 5th go around.

@smiggs I really hope you pick up this time. 4th app wow that takes time and dedication, most would have given up. What did your DA recruiter say your chances were being picked up from the alternate side? I'm in the same boat. Alternate Select.

I appreciate the support in my selection. I hope it comes true. lol But the recruiter said to not put any hope in the alternate status and get ready for next year's submission. Really like his honesty and will reapply if need be since the medical portion is good for 2 years. My only concern is having to retake the GRE since my score will be over 5 years old. But if it's what I want to do, I'll get over it and prepare.

Hi everyone!  Wish you all the best!!  I was just recently selected for HSCP HCA.  Im active duty with 15 years in.   Last year my package was submitted late, and I was an alternate due to no quotas.  I am a true believer that your pckg for DA has to be ready to go and uploaded by the processors by October 1st.  I tracked that CNRC website faithfully..and saw a huge increase of submission of packages mid November - December.

DA or IPP? My DA package went in the middle of Nov this year and I am a selectee. From what I understand, the board sets a NLT date each year.

Can you apply da and ipp route with the same package within the same fiscal year

I am not sure how that works. I am a civilian and applied DA only. This was my first year.

My SgtMaj contacted a few people at HQMC (who contacted the Navy side) and found out that it should be signed on Friday.  Either released on Friday or early next week.  Although, I can't vouch for the veracity of his sources. *fingers crossed*

Our board isn't the only one that is delayed. A CDR I know at opnav was selected for command and he is still awaiting results from his assignment board... which convened in July lol...

Can someone please post the result?

I saw on the MOE initiative that they were out but can't find the message either. I'm feeling anxious in anticipation for the results either way!

Congratulations to those who picked up! I can't wait to see those at ODS as well.  Things will undoubtedly move fast now.  For those who didn't make it, continue on.  I'm sure your mentors and MSC contacts have phenomenal advice

V/R,

MMN1
